25 Days to Christmas Day 5

December 5,2014-

WOW, it's Day 5! Are you able to keep with the challenges/ tips for each day? They are not hard are they......It's all about small steps to make a big goal come into light!

Okay, here we go......today, I want you to be comfortable....wear comfortable clothing and think of yourself as the athlete that you are! Yes everyone is an athlete! It's just up to you to bring that athlete out!

I want you to clean out your sock draw. A simple little thing to do, it will take 15-20 minutes! Get rid of those mis matches, holy socks, etc. It will remind you everytime of the journey to a happier and healthier you EVERY time you open that draw!

Today at some point I want you to call that someone who puts you in a good mood all day long. You know that cheerleader, the one who has your best interests in heart!

Hungry for PIZZA....go ahead to have some BUT have it the original way....a vegetarian style PIZZA....no cheese please! Yes the original pizza had no cheese on it, in fact in parts of Italy today, they still leave the pizza off, and if you want Cheese you have to ask for it....if you want veggies on it, LOAD them on.....by the way- despite what the government here in the US says pizza is not a vegetable because it has tomato sauce- what does the government know??!?!??!?!...NOTHING!.....

You need to chew your food at least 20 times- chew it until it's a liquid, help your stomach out.....try it, I bet you will have so much more energy if you chew your food. Oh and if you have a smoothie, CHEW your smoothie- I know your saying but it's already a liquid- but if you chew your smoothie you will release those enzymes in your mouth which will help digest your food properly!.....Digestion begins in the mouth, actually it begins when you see and smell that food before you even pick up your utensils!.......SO CHEW your food!



Drink water in between meals-this will let your enzymes work properly to digest your food.....if you really need to drink while your eating, sip don't gulp your drink- hopefully the drink will be a refreshing glass of water. But remember your chewing your food into a liquid now so you shouldn't need to drink while eating. Drink before you eat, about 15-20 minutes before this will help your body tell you if your really hungry or if it's emotional hunger calling your name. And it will help fill you up more so you eat less. And wait an hour at least to drink after you just ate.

So after today don't forget to keep that journal, how did chewing your food make you feel? Where you more energized?......

Alright, today I want you to continue with me on our daily walks/ runs......and get some Doga in there.....have you heard of pupilates or doglates?.......
